Picasso at the Frist

  We are changing up our Term 3 artist to study Picasso. Although he is not my favorite and has a LOT of paintings not suitable for elementary children, he is a household artist name and there are lessons and picture books dedicated to the study of this famous modern artist. I teach a music and art class each semester and I'm excited to use some of the ideas from Deep Space Sparkle and other resources online to encourage students in making their own art while also learning about the artist. Some picture books that I've ordered are "When Pigcasso Met Mootise" "If Picasso Painted a Snowman" and "Picasso and the Girl with a Ponytail" (Amazon affiliate links are located below.
